What is The cambridge storefront competition?
The Cambridge Storefront Competition is a business pitch competition in which the winner will receive free rent for one year inside the Ward's Mercantile building at 149 W. Main Street in Cambridge.
The competition is run through RenewTowns, an initiative created by the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater's Enactus team. Entrepreneurs who are interested in entering the competition for the chance to win free rent should register to participate in the competition using the link on this page.

Who is Eligible to Apply?
Must be 18 years of age
Must have a business idea that is either live or in beta form
Must participate in all four Workshops (either virtually or in-person)
What involvement is expected from competition candidates?
Candidates will participate in a series of four workshops designed to refine their business plan. The first three workshops will cover the topics of initial ideation, marketing and finance.
In the final workshop candidates will create a pitch deck and short video overview of their business. The video will be posted online and the local community will vote on which business ideas should advance to a final round of voting.
Finalists will proceed to an interview round where they will discuss their business plan. Ultimately, the winner will be selected by a vote cast from a panel of judges.

This competition will give you the opportunity to start or expand your business and contribute to the vibrancy of Cambridge's historic Main Street.
